I loved this - an easy read with rivals to lovers. A nice change of pace from my last read that was dense with bigamy and heavy family dynamics. What can I say, I just love a good fantasy/kingdom romance with royalty and rivals mixed in. A guilty pleasure for sure!

This is my favorite book now, for real!! I was blown away by the details and so surprised at the twists and turns. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time, and that's saying something because I'm extremely picky with what I read. I want to buy this I love it so much.

I have really enjoyed reading a lot of Kiera Cass's books and this was also well written. The book is more than 500 pages, and it honestly felt more like a series than a whole book. But because it is so long, there is the ability to explore characters' backstories and have dual perspectives between the 2 main characters Annika and Lennox.
