3.5*. Heartwarming and absorbing and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the characters and in the locations. Maybe it wasn't the most surprising of stories, and I'd have loved more detail occasionally - I wish we'd had more time in Thailand for example (but maybe that's because it's a particularly bleak winter in the UK and the desire to escape is strong!) - but it was exactly what I needed right now.

I absolutely adored everything about this book. It was so easy to read and definitely one that makes your heart feel full. It was my September pick for @bookshelfraiders as it was a cover that matches the colour of your birthstone. This is also a book from my local library so continuing with my New Years resolution. I’ve only recently discovered @paige and I have to say I have loved all 3 that I have read now, just easy to pick up and uplifting. I definitely will be buying more now!

I am a big fan of Paige Toon's books so I always look forward to new releases. I love that her characters overlap throughout the books and so after reading about Bridget in some other stories, I was excited to see she got her own story.
Bridget is a lovely character and quite funny. Some parts of the book had me unsure of how I felt about her, I loved her one minute and the next I thought why was she putting herself through finding all of her ex's.
Towards the middle of the book we get to find out more about Bridget and this is where I felt for her, she is a relatable character and Paige has a way of incorporating real life situations into fiction books. This for me is what makes them so interesting and unable to put down.
I thought it all moved quite fast, however at the end I completely agree with who got the last piece of Bridget's heart and it was heart warming to read.

This book stole my heart for 2 days! It was incredible. I cried, I laughed and I fell in love with the characters! I thought I could guess what was going to happen and then I was thrown off course with plot twists!
I sobbed my heart out at 1am when she left Cornwall and I ended up reading till I finished the book as I just needed answers!
‘The last piece of my heart’ was so beautifully written, and I loved everything about it from the plot to the characters!

What a beautiful, heartfelt feel good story. This story left me smiling stupidly after reading it. It was near impossible to put down and I raced through Bridget’s fun and witty story. Charlie and April were an absolute delight, and I adored every moment spent with them in the stunning Cornwall setting. It just felt homely and wonderful. This book was really quite comforting, kind of an escapism read. My one complaint, and it pains me to write anything negative about this book, is that for the pace that the love story was progressing throughout the book, it all ended too quickly! I was looking forward to seeing them slowly fall in love, within thirty pages they were in and out of Thailand and married. I would have liked to have seen Charlie fall in love with Bridget too, but it seemed as though Bridget almost imposed the romance on him because of the speed at which it progressed. One second she breaks up with Elliot and the next she’s married to Charlie.

Despite this, this book has warmed my heart and I couldn’t have asked for a better mid summer read. Thank you Paige Toon. You are amazing and this book certainly owns a piece of my heart!!
