i haven’t read this in months, but i’m willing to try rereading it again in the future
This read was addictive. I was lost in this world and did not put this book down once I picked it up. It is suspenseful and surprising. It is thrilling and kept me on the edge of my seat. J.L. Beck and C. Hallman have become one of my favorite writing duos. Their writing is seamless and their storylines are always intriguing. I am so invested in this story and I can't wait to see what will happen next. I am so ready for this conclusion.

It was a really quick read.
In one sitting I had the book done. I found the buildup of the relationships to be extremely quick and cheesy AF. I think I’ve read about 20 other mafia books off Wattpad with the exact same plot. Literally, the exact same.
Meh, not sure if I’ll read the next book. I just wasn’t captivated by this one.
