I’m glad I’m reading this series in collected format. If I had to read the Saints storyline in single issues, I would have quit. Hot Batgirl Summer is the story arc I was waiting for. Lots of fun character interaction with Steph and Cass and Babs and Dick. Lighthearted fun, even when dealing with the ick that comes with superheroing (Steph’s reactions while examining the body of her primary suspect were spot-on).

I found the narration a bit overbearing and the plot a little lacking. In another time and place though I'm sure I would have enjoyed this more - it just wasn't right for me at the moment. I recommend tween and teen readers the comic though for getting into the Batgirls.

Not sure about the tone consistency with these. They're theoretically for young teens, but have multiple reverences to sex and *kink*.
Also why is Dick in this so much. Doesn't he get enough attention in his own damn book.
I do like that they remembered Steph is good at riddles.
And a Maps appearance!!
