Another good book I just really wish authors would choose a different form of drama besides miscommunication in the form of assuming things. I really hate the drama that's based on assuming that the other person did something that ultimately ruinee the relationship at that moment and had the other character run off and refused to even speak to the other. It just seems childish to me especially when there's a pregnancy involved. That's my only complaint otherwise it was a cute story and I do characters and we'll read the third book.

He has a daughter and she is a temporary nanny. Leif is trying to buy Layla’s grandparents house but she doesn’t know about it until a party. She finds out she’s pregnant with his baby.
One thing I didn’t like is that the pregnancy is not really described and it’s only on the last 100 pages or so.

Layla and Leif - billionaire, struggling FMC, nanny romance

Layla is working 3 jobs to try to keep a roof over her and her sisters head, as well as food on the table, and to pay for their grandparents when needed. Layla and Leif meet over a year ago when she was working at a club, only he doesn’t remember her. They meet again on the street one day when she falls on ice with groceries. He says he needs her to watch his daughter for only a week because his FT nanny needs to be with her husband in the hospital.

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Big, Bossy Trouble is everything we expect from Lilian Monroe. Workplace romance. Surprise baby. Billionaire Viking. And it was all wonderful.

Leif and Layla have history but their future is even better. Layla sees a short-term nanny position as a solution to several problems. Leif thinks so too until he discovers his immense attraction and he doesn't want to give her up.

Of course there are major pitfalls they have to get over but once they do it's all about the romance.
