I liked the story a lot but Laura was not my favorite. She got better towards the end but her character sometimes just irked me. Alec and Laura together were super cute and I loved the moments they had with their little reunited family. I think Jack should’ve been introduced to Alec way earlier than he was because the scenes of Laura flip flopping between still loving Alec and being angry at him were just getting annoying at the end. Plus it was hard to see their chemistry when Laura couldn’t understand her feelings. Overall it’s a good book but it probably isn’t my favorite in the series.

Most of these book reviews coming up will say that there are other hockey books out there that are better. But any book that doesn’t piss me tf off will get three stars.
