this was my first read from Pru Schuyler and i absolutely enjoyed it ! 

there’s something about hockey romances that just works for me. ✨

the story was quite emotional at some points but overall it’s a heartwarming read. Pru Schuyler knows exactly how to pulls on readers emotions. 

i adored the relationship between Laura and her son, Jack. it was incredibly sweet and never failed to make me smile. 

Alec…. he was a real good guy. he’s protective, obsessive and i could see how madly in love he actually was with Laura from his POVs. 

they were literally made for each other and i loved them so freakin much🥹

i wish there was more conclusion of Alec and his mom’s relationship because i felt like it just ended really abruptly. but i still loved this book anyway.

i am looking forward to the rest of The Nighthawks series!!! 🩵🩷💜
