Predictable story and mono dimensional, flat characters. There are more details on the ugly outfits than in the story. And the token gay child doesn’t save the book (also, he’s five, and he’s already DATING?!).

2 stars because I actually finished it, by forcing myself to. I couldn’t stand that he didn’t even know who Jack was or that he even existed until over half way through the book. And then they just jumped back into a relationship together like nothing happened. She broke up with him and got back together again in the span of like 15 pages. Everything made absolutely NO SENSE
