I wanted to like this book, and I say that as someone who is very much a vibes reader. But the writing in this book was poorly done, it didn’t flow right, and things just did not make sense to me.

I have been struggling to find a book that held my attention and was GOOD! Well when l first started this book I just knew it was going to be good and it sure didn’t disappoint, it also had lots of my favourite tropes so maybe that helped. Such a great read, it was between a 4.5 or a 5 star and decided to go with five stars.

This is my first book of Pru’s and gosh I was glad it was this one. Find me in the Rain has a ton of my favorite tropes including single mom, secret baby, hockey romance and second chance and it was just too good to be true. Laura and Alec’s story was one I was looking so forward to finally reading about and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed them. Give me the second chance romance and I’m in but this book was just done so gracefully and I loved that the third act breakup was only like one chapter long. It showed you that this was a story of true love and where the MMC just doesn’t take no for an answer and gives up with the FMC tries to end it with him to spare him.
This was also a hockey romance and if you know me, you’d know that I wholeheartedly love that trope. There’s just something extra special about a hockey player and they always seem to be extra protective and obsessed with the girl they are in love with. The true star of the show was definitely little Jack, he was the cutest little guy ever and I really enjoyed every time we got to read about him.
Overall this book was much the love story I was hoping to read and I’m already knees deep into Cam and Nikki’s story and gosh I’m loving it. THIS SERIES IS A MUST READ!!!!
