It has some like some tropes but overall I was so bored. The writing itself was bad and just did not work for me. SPOILER: Also the plot just did not make sense whatsoever and moved way to fast to be anything near realistic. Like I cannot imagine finding out you have a child after 5 years and then getting over it in the next paragraph
I love you,
Even in the storm,
Even in the rain.
*cries eyes out every time I read this.
I am often on the fence with books where the mfc was pregnant and the mmc leaves her (more often than not, he didn't know) because the reason (person) responsible doesn't get a lot of back lash but I do love how it was handled in this book.

This was a cute read, but honestly not my cup of tea. While there were lots of adorable moments, everything was really unrealistic and felt forced at moments.
this had a strong start but somewhere in the middle i got lost. it kinda felt like all these new plot devices got added in and it felt promising. then it just got wrapped up with no real conclusion. it was just really rushed at the end and lacking.
I hate giving below three stars but....love a hockey romance but this one needed work. Will I still read the second book? Yes, because my brain will make me. However, wouldn't recommend.
