The book wasn’t terrible, but not my favorite read. A quick, easy read if you’re looking for one. The characters lacked information in their history and how they got to today in the book. The author could’ve gone more in-depth with the characters backstory and wrapped up other characters story lines better. What happened with the mom and Alec’s relationship? Who is Josh and how did he meet Laura? The fact that a 6 year old has a boyfriend in the book as well is astonishing. At least incorporate lgbtq with an older character and not a child.
Also, there is a good amount of spelling errors and misuse of words because of spelling errors.

I had never read any of Pru’s books before and ‘Find me in the rain’ was really enjoyable. Outside of the romance aspect, this book had so many good things like the representations of motherhood, friendships that become family and sexual orientation, all of them amazingly portrayed. Romantically speaking, the story between Laura and Alec was really sweet, I liked the past scenes a lot and how they get involved again in the present. It would be hard to not fall for Alec, that man definitely knew what he was doing. This book made me laugh and cry and I’m excited to meet the rest of the team.
I only say this cause I needed more angst before they finally kiss kiss makeup fuck. You were good im waiting for you to be great.
I really wanted to love this book but it just didn’t do it for me. The story felt rushed and un-cohesive.
