Tied up everything nicely. Was twisted in the same way as the other books, but with much less terrifying.

DNF Based on reviews, apparently the ending is really good, but I just couldn’t get past the beginning where nothing new was happening, no characters were developing, and everyone was just super angsty about being evil.

A fitting end to Anita’s story! I didn’t feel like I knew she would survive bc she was the main character, or Kovit to be honest. There were multiple times I had to put the book down in shock and others I was up reading well past the time I should’ve been. The knife twist about her mother was one of the best plot twists I’ve read in ages although I wish just a tad more was revealed about her backstory and life/abilities before she was blown to smithereens. Fabricio is an amazing antihero and one I actually felt bad for in the end, sneak sob that he is. Cannot wait for the webtoon adaptation of the final book and I can’t wait for more from this author!
