You want to know my issue with this story? None of the characters are mature enough to be having sex. Yes, I'm including the mother in that category. While the mom is there partially for a work conference, she is so self centered she doesn't see that her daughters need guidance. The older sister is clearly rebelling and just wants to pretend being 18 means your an adult. The younger sister is actually acting her age.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointment for me. I think that maybe I don't love books centered around losing virginity, so maybe that's my fault because I knew what it was going in. However, I've loved all of Hand's other books that I've read, so I figured it would still win me over. I don't have much to say about this, but it's not something I'll be returning to in the future.

I was given a copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.

I don’t know what I was expecting from this book but I got full of heart and just as much drama.

I really enjoyed the way this author wrote about relationships in this novel. We got to look into romantic and family relationships from multiple points of view.
The sister relationships were extremely well portrayed. I loved reading through the stage of idolizing a sibling but learning through healthy communication that nobody is as perfect as they seem and it’s completely normal to be jealous of each other.

I also loved watching our main character develop through the events of the book. It’s amazing to see how quickly certain experiences and the right people can push you down a path towards self-confidence.

Definitely a recommend from me to other YA readers, was just what I needed right now!
