It was good, lacked in a few areas.. i don’t have an interest in reading the other books in this series if that says anything.

I read this because of the upcoming crossover with the Filthy Feckers series and I'm mad Serena is writing a book intertwined with this series.
Both MC's are annoying and childish. He's so mean to her and she gets mad and then tells him she loves him?
He's a super douche "I'm King I can do what I want"... yuck. And she's supposed to be a badass but she really isn't... Also why was she set up by the FBI...? She had no record... how would they know she's a klepto?
Also really gross that the author writes a developmentally challenged character and the FMC wants to use him because he's slow and gets annoyed when he doesn't understand her quickly enough... wtf?
Also her dad is literally dying from smoking yet the FMC doesn't care that the MMC smokes all the time beside her?
Half the time I wasn't sure who was talking to who because the editing was so bad.

Blade was an asshat, he was alpha, he was possessive as hell and he was everything I love in an MC character. He's top dog of the Disciples MC and he's the type of guy you wouldn't want to wrong. Being top dog means he holds power and he uses that power.
Eve is badass, she has turned to stick up for herself, she is a little spitfire, full of sass and wit. I adored her! She wasn't a typical heroine, she was so much more.
From the moment these two came together, I could read the chemistry between both of them. It oozed off the pages. They were the most unlikely couple but yet they fit perfectly. He was the powerful king and she was the sassy queen. Blade has always been the rough bad MC, but Eve bought something totally different out in him and I loved it, I loved how it looks the perfect woman for Blade for him to be a better more. He wanted to be better for her and if that doesn't scream love, I don't know what does.
Overall this book was amazing. It was the first book I have read by this author and it is her debut into MC romances and she nailed it epically.
