I didn't realize it was third in a series until after I started reading but it was easy to pick up. The story twists and turns on unexpected ways.

I really enjoyed this book.  I loved the multi-POV, and mixing 3rd person with 1st person narration… I am surprised I liked that, actually.  So many surprises, and Lily was my favorite character.  I found out after I started reading that this book is actually the third in a series, but while it would’ve been nice and probably better to have read the other books first, I’m happy to say that it wasn’t necessary.

I liked this but it was my least favorite in the series. I love that Lily got revenge on both Ethan and Alan in the end.

One of my biggest questions is how did Ethan get away with taking all those identities, especially “Robert”…it seemed like he had a little art life before Ethan took over. No one noticed he was different?

I did feel bad for Josie and her husband. I was hoping that maybe the husband could get closure. Here’s to hoping Lily wrote a suicide note for Alan, confessing to the murder.

Idk how I feel about this book. I enjoyed the beginning and middle but the end was just like “what in the world just happened”!!
