Peter Swanson did it again! He writes unlikeable, morally grey or villainous character in such a captivating way. And I’m always surprised by the twist. There’s always such a mysterious, tense, yet fun and conversational edge to his writing that makes me loathe to put the book down.
So, as suspected, I completely zoomed through this book, just as I had with his others. Can’t wait for the next instalment in the Henry Kimball/Lily Kitner series!

We may have stumbled a little bit into the absurd here with this one and I didn’t love what he was going for with the final final ending but I will eat up any Henry/Lily book that Swanson writes and I think they’re such a fun (wild) ride every time
