Harusnya aku baca buku keduanya dulu sih tapi belom nemu bukunya. Tapi pas baca ini ga bingung sih, cuma di awalnya aja ada kejadian yang aku ga tau soalnya diceritain di buku sebelumnya kayaknya. Dari awal sampe tengah cerita aku kira ga ada hubungannya antara kasus si pria gelandangan sama cerita balas dendamnya Lisbeth. Tapi entah gimana di akhir dijelasin kaitannya dengan sindikat kejahatan yang dibangun oleh ayahnya Lisbeth. Kasian sih sama si pria gelandangannya ini, dia dihantui rasa bersalah sepanjang hidupnya setelah kejadian di Everest tahun 2008 bareng Forsell.
Alurnya lambat dan kita dibuat penasaran banget sama kasusnya. Semua teka-tekinya dijelasin di akhir cerita. Di tengah ceritanya ada pentunjuk yang ga begitu jelas dan aku nebaknya ke mana, tapi ternyata bukan ke situ. Seru sih. Endingnya juga bahagia. Jadi pengen baca lagi The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

I'm a sucker for sequels and this one was the most satisfying of the new series/same series different author.
I'm also a sucker for Everest stories, so this book easily won me over.
The first three Millennium books stand on their own, as they always will, the latter three feel abridged. They are less gritty, less graphic, but also carry less of a punch. They are one to two hundred pages lighter than their predecessors, so they read differently. The conclusions come too quickly, too easily and less satisfying.

Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series are some of my most treasured books and quite frankly they should have been left with him.
