I feel like Stieg Larsson’s point of view is starting to get lost in this book. The books are getting shorter and shorter and unrealistic and not sticking to Lisbeth’s character. I feel this book and series should have a much darker plot with Lisbeth. Seriously, after this book, Lisbeth should by all accounts be dead. The final “battle” if you will was not keeping with Stieg.
That being said, I did really enjoy this book. I loved learning about Sherpas and the Rainbow Valley on Mt. Everest. I spent extra time outside of this book reading about it. Very intriguing. The subplots with Mikael are always exciting. I love all the research that goes into them.

I love this series and this one was an easy read like the others. It was a bit annoying that the two storylines did not really link together but great despite this. It seems there will be another one which I am not sure is a great idea ! There is only so long you can create master pieces for. Regardless, I know I will read it when it comes out!
This guy's biggest mistake was trying to continue this series. Lisbeth Salander is my favourite literary heroine, which is the only reason I keep reading these. I'm sure that Lagercrantz is a great standalone author, but one can't help but compare; I found myself constantly disappointed (and offended, quite frankly) that this is what the series has become.
Also, to me, the title doesn't make sense?

After a total of six books I have finally come to the end of this series! I finish off with the sixth and final book, which was interesting but sadly not all I hoped it would be.
This book follows a few story lines, of which I’m not entirely sure they were all necessary to the plot. It was an interesting mystery trying to tie together the connections between our mystery beggar and our well off friends however, again it seemed to just be a story to be a story.
I enjoyed that Salander was able to confront her sister but I was ultimately disappointed by how the confrontation turned out. It seemed like after six books their tension was so built up and it just came to a flat ending.
Overall I was expecting a bit more from this book, but still enjoyed it!

This book wasn't the best. Just generally, the last three books haven't been great compared to the first three. I think it's a pacing issue. In this book, and in the previous two, there are parts that are really intriguing and hook the reader but then there are also huge chunks that are boring and feel like filler and the balance between the two isn't maintained properly. While the ending of this book was definitely interesting, the overall reading experience wasn't great and so it's an average read overall. I'm honestly just glad to be done with this series.
