I thought it was good, but it parts it felt a bit rushed compared to the older books. Lagercrantz does a fine job, but not quite so fine as to make me forget that another author has penned the last three Millennium books.

Very curious to see if this is it for these characters.

I know I’m a sucker because I know that the Millennium series will never be as good as it were under Stieg Larson but I still pick up a copy whenever I see a new addition.

Optimism? Nostalgia? Or just plain foolishness to pay for a glorified fanfic? Maybe all of the above.

I mean it’s a decent enough book but every new book makes me want to reread the originals so that I can try to place my finger on what exactly is missing

Imperfect, but a very satisfying sixth book.

Peccato.

This was the worst in the series by far. The dialogue was boring and stilted, the secondary story was lame and ridiculously tied in to the main one, and the ending so anti-climactic. I hope this is the end of the series because I think I’m done.

3.5*
I’d give the first half 5 stars but was starting to get lost for the rest of the book. Some of the Swedish names, places and organizations are hard to follow but the book was overall enjoyable!

David Lagercrantz does a good job continuing this series. Thoroughly enjoyed the 6th installment.
