Very easy read. I felt like it was taking quite a while to get to the kicker at the end, and then they rushed over that part a bit. But over all a pretty good book. I enjoyed the direction that Morgan's character took after her whole world fell apart. I love that she got that time again with her ladies. Miles is an interesting character, and having his whole family be involved with their love story.

5 stars! I love Nora Roberts! She has been one of my favorite authors for years and this book did not disappoint!
There is so much going on in this book with romance, suspense, family dynamics, independence, and wit.
Morgan grew up as a military brat and wanted to establish some roots. She moved to Baltimore, MD and started her goals and building a life there. Then the unthinkable happened.
A broken Morgan moves to Vermont to live with her mom and grandmother. She meets the semi grouchy Miles and his family all while trying to forget about what happened in Baltimore.
