A story about 3 friends getting together and finding themselves and each other. The main characters were all kind of annoying. But also relatable.
Emily Giffin has done it again. I’ve read everyone one of her books starting with Something Borrowed and have loved each one of them. I loved the premise of this book of friendships that are unbreakable. It is true that having a small group of close friends is better than have hundreds of friends that are more like acquaintances. I love the dynamic between the main characters Lainey, Hannah and Tyson.
I’m really confused. The selection of Noah Khan as sexy time music. The Tik Tok references. The “she would have loved the Eras tour” comments also all the random thought dumping like supporting the LGBTQ community and black people having friends who aren’t vs are black??? The not talking to your sister because of politics. I’m so sorry everything was cliche in a bad way.
I also HATED how the POV flipped between the 3 characters and retold the same chapter. Why?? We know what happened??? It felt like I was reading the same chapter 3 times.

3.5 - loved it until the end. It felt rushed a bit and I would have prefer a second book or longer novel I think but overall very sweet and had great trigger warnings and practical life experiences that are relatable and heart felt.
