Girl meets boy, boy gives girl abandonment issues.

I trudged through this. I hate the breakup/makeup/jealousy/arrangement bs and it literally made this book nearly insufferable.

from izumi's dedication to her family, to discovering herself, to getting to know the twins more, emiko jean really does it all and excels in this novel. i hope the series gets another book.

Spoilerthe only thing im mad about is that i like eriku way more!!!!! even tho i love the bodyguard trope so much, eriku is so much more likable! akio is supposed to be the broody-quiet, but heart of gold once you get to know him boyfriend, but really hes just so boring, and has no characterization besides being izumi's boyfriend who is becoming a pilot. eriku is so much more flushed out, izumi even seems 100% happier with him than with aiko. arghhhhh

I am not ready to leave Izumi's world but the book ended. I really want a prequel featuring Hanako and Makoto's love story. Like, I NEED it.

Maybe I’m getting too old, but I found myself more interested in Hanako and Mak’s story.
