I quite enjoyed this collection of short stories! They were funny, insightful and interesting!

Some of these short stories were a couple of sentences and some were long, but they were all entertaining in one way or another. I don’t want to spoil anything, so you’ll just have to read it to see what it’s all about!

Some of these stories tie together with another story that we read later on and I just love that so much. B.J. has quite the sense of humour and I just know that he’s a funny dude. I don’t know if he has any other books out, but I will be checking them out.

Thank you for writing this book and after learning that Jenna, Mindy and Rainn read the stories in the audiobook version is definitely making me want to listen to it to see how they bring it to life!

DNF - Just not a fan

So creative and fun!

I think the book started off strong, but as it continued I found the stories to be less humorous.

Just utterly charming and funny and sweet. It's been my go to before bed read -which is a separate thing from my during the day read and my audiobook read - and I'm going to miss it. Would be perfect for airports or waiting rooms too if you want something quick that has more heart than your newsfeed.

I was surprised after posting this to find some other readers bound The Bravest Thing I Ever Did to be transphonic. I'm non-binary, with two trans kids, and I read it as a really concise and funny take down of the kind of comedian who thinks he's being witty by punching down to the people in his audience, and doesn't stick around in case that same audience might challenge him on that. *shrugs * ymmv obviously

The stories were very creative and witty. I am learning that I just don't love the short story format in general.

Some stories were outrageously funny and entertaining (The Hare story sticks with me and I still laugh about occasionally), others missed the mark, but overall I recommend this book for a quick and fun read.
