4.25/5 stars!
Your Honour, I love them.
The growth of almost every single one of them made me feel things. I've grown attached to Joey's siblings, Aoife's mam, and the whole Kavanagh family. Heck, even Gibs. There was no denying his character alone earned another star from me, especially how he went out of his way to help Aoife with Joey. Lizzie is a queen too. I couldn't get enough of them.
Again, this book really didn't need to be this long. We could have cut off Joey's parents, Darren, and Kev's part from this book. :) I mean, it was a bit dragged out during Joey's rehab, and it made the later part of the book feel rushed. I wanted to see more of AJ and how Tommen's life was treating both Joey and Aoife.
I'm glad I read Joey and Aoife's story before starting with Johnny and Shannon's. It does help make it easier to understand the timeline later on. Boys of Tommen have my heart.
“He sort of lives in his own world."
"She clearly lives in that world with him.”
"She clearly lives in that world with him.”
“When I was with her, I felt like I was drowning and breathing all at once.”
“Because when you hurt, I hurt. When you burn, I go down in flames with you. We’re entwined, Joe. We’re mirrors. Don’t you get that by now?”
“Because every part of me loved every part of her. The good, the bad, and the ugly.”
