I throughly enjoyed this read. It was an intriguing play on your contemporary romance with just a tad bit of a suspense from a deranged stranger.

While this book was good, I was definitely caught off guard by the storyline and the cover lol. I expected this to be another cute, but heavy short romance, but it was far from that… I like how you got Ciara and Lincoln‘s POV, but the part that threw me off was Eddie’s POV because you’re trying to figure out why Ciara is running away from him. It was giving stalker and obsessive, which turned the storyline from a romance to more of a mystery suspense book. I think that it was a good read, especially getting into spooky season, but I don’t know if that’s what I wanted. Love the found family. Love the instant romance.

Ciara is running away from her life, her family and friends and trying to start fresh while keeping her head down, but soon meets friends that pull her basically adopt her into the family which also includes Lincoln.

Lincoln is a firefighter who is not looking for love or commitment until he meets Ciara and instantly wants to be with her and protect her.

So when stalker Eddie comes into the picture… the action really starts. But the ending was MID and Eddie’s reason was weird

This was a good read...I just didn't understand how the main character had a stalker who had kidnapped her and then tried to kill her (and threatened to kill her loved ones) but she didn't keep a gun or a taser on her at all times. Like WHAT?!?

It's then said that she got a NICE lump sum of money because of the accident that started all of this and she didn't move into a gated community or an apartment with a doorman or security? Again...WHAT?!?

Also, she's been in Texas for months and knows the guy is alive. She's been feeling like someone was watching her and didn't go back into taking self defense? The whole book, since moving to Texas, all she's done was apartment hop between her and Lincoln's spots, go to the cafe, and work at the bar. She didn't go to not one kickboxing class and not one visit to the range. Like girl, WHAT?!?

Other than that, I enjoyed the book.

I love when a book captures your attention so much that you finish it in one go. I stayed up all night reading Where We Found Our Home by Natasha Bishop and it was so worth it. I loved this book! At first it seems like it’s a romance novel, but then you realize it’s got a thriller subplot happening. The author balanced both of these aspects perfectly and the multiple points of view all felt so different. Ciara and Linc have such great chemistry and the steam was superb. I also loved both of their family and friends who are present in a big way in the story. Can’t wait to read book two in the series!

I can not explain why it took me 15 years to complete this book but it's a really good story once I got into it. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series!

Natasha Bishop's writing is so easy to get lost in! I really enjoyed Ciara and Lincoln's story! I think they were a great couple go start an interconnected series with the. The suspense kept me interested. Overall good read! Excited to see where the rest of the friend group's future goes!
