This was a quick read with the most pleasant surprise of suspense throughout! Through the second half it started smelling like a series but in a way that if done right can be amazing! Looking forward to the second book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5- Where we found our home
We see Ciara move to Austin from Baltimore, running from a man who has made it his mission to ruin her life over an accident he caused. She meets Lincoln through his sister Sasha and her daughter Neveah and they build a friendship while she’s struggling with the reality of her stalker following her to Austin. She’s finally able to confront him and stop running and accept the abundance of love shes always had around her.
I really enjoyed this book but i hated the POV of her stalker(Eddie). It was such a stark difference from Ciara and Lincoln’s POV that it kept throwing me off. His POV definitely gave the book a thriller vibe. I can definitely relate to Ciara’s need to not burden the people that love her with her own struggles but i loved that they continued to confirm that they loved her enough to show up for her and they continued to do so.
I definitely want to read the other 2 books in this series. They’re definitely gonna be my palate cleansers between longer books.

I really liked this book. At certain points Ciara got on my nerves but I understood why she made some of her decisions but she still irritated me lol. I love Lincoln tho! Definitely making my book boyfriend list. There whole relationship was so cuteee and I love the found family aspect too. Excited to continue this series
Very cute story
This book will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat! I love the relationship of Ciara and Lincoln.

While I didn’t love it, I can see why it is raved about on social.
Both main characters were likeable and I enjoyed them together. I adored Neveah and the other secondary characters.
But the story I’m interested in is Nina and Isiah. And that’s what’s up next.

Jesus, what a ride.
I was so not prepared for the journey this book took me on. Ciara and Lincoln have gone through it, but they found each other in the process and that’s what matters.
I love that their village was such a central part of this. I love reading the romance, but it’s so much sweeter to see various kinds of love throughout and how well the MCs are loved and supported.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book (no, seriously. I’m about to start it now

4.5 stars!! Such a good book, only thing is I feel like we didn’t need Eddie’s chapters. I feel like the book was good enough without them. Other than that, the romance, chemistry too tier
