Another really strong read from this author. While this was hard to read at times, it’s a really powerful love story.

The stalker was so weird and his chapters made me lock all my doors. WTH.

3.5. Rounded up because the reasoning for the move was different. A lot of it was predictable but I still enjoyed it.

I liked thissss! The only thing that was slightly annoying was the whole running from something unknown part (My own personal opinion) but I hate when they drag the unknown out for longer than I’d like and mention it 100 times LOL. But I diddd love the twist of the lunatic/stalker aspect and ofc #BLACKLOVEEEE. Ms. Bishop knows how to write!!

great book

The love/hate I held this whole book!! A love story and a thriller. Beautifully written. I was forever on the edge of my seat.

the suspense

I just couldn't stop reading this book. The characters grabbed my attention right away, and the suspense kept me on the edge. It took me through a bunch of different emotions.

Guysssssss Natasha Bishop doesn't miss, but a romantic thriller?! Oh give my girl her flowers because this book was sooooo good!! The different POVs from Lincoln to Ciara to her stalker Eddie?! The way the suspense was built up, the terror and need for control that was palpable on the pages. The way Lincoln and his family wormed their way into her life so effortlessly that it was natural and made complete sense how close they all became and how much they came to care for her. Lincoln realizing he needed to heal from his past so he could grasp his future, while still being a top tier boyfriend. Her friends and their interactions when they came to visit her in Texas. The relationship between Ciara and her mom. Guys this book was excellent. I'm reading the next in the series as we speak!

This was such a great mix of suspense, thriller and romance. Eddie's chapters had me tense. I loved the families and both Lincoln and Ciara's friend groups. Naveh was such an adorable kiddo and quite the matchmaker. The banter between Lincoln and Ciara was super cute. Chemistry they had that! I really enjoyed this one and cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series and hopefully encounter these characters again.

So, don’t be like me and think that this is gonna be some cute firefighter romance. The fire was there, the romance was there, but ooh chile!!!! Everything this girl was going through, just check your trigger warnings. Linc love him some Ciara.

This is my second Natasha Bishop book and it won’t be my last. I enjoy her writing

Expected but Unexpected twist in the book. Enjoyed it a lot
