I feel like I did like the book overall. The characters were lovable and I felt invested in their interwoven lives and was always thinking about how much they mean to each other. There was extensive world building around the story, however, I think that most of the story consisted of their journey and that the more interesting thing started happening later in the novel. I personally would like to see where this story will go, but I feel like the plot may need to pick up a bit as I still feel the characters do carry the book on their backs, and what I would look for in the next book is more battles of the one power and a little more excitement than I was given in the eye of the world. Overall, I enjoyed this read, and would like to continue to see what this author has to offer in their series.
