It’s not perfect and not as pacey as I imagined either but overall still an enjoyable read. Not as horny as I thought it would be (sigh). The chapters also read more like short stories if that’s your thing (it’s not my thing).

Amazing memoir.
Great passages but also so well put together as a whole. She sets up jokes or scenarios well in advance and so the pay off is so clever. 
She also GENUINELY captures the joy and pain of being a chef in London.
I’m so happy that this book exists and is as fantastic as it is.
I enjoyed this book as much as any other this year

Hilarious account of a main character who has adhd thoughts and seems to display a bit of manic depression perhaps? 

Audio is the way to go with this because it has a funny british accent, and the inner dialouge comes across better than I suspect it would in print. 

I enjoyed her rantings and comparisons of sex and food as well as the chapter titles.
