Both my boys really loved this one so don't go thinking it's a book for girls! I loved it as well. Charming characters and a feel-good story.

This was every bit as good as I expected it to be. Brought back sooo many childhood memories. Somehow I felt that the story was a bit more tragic in the movie as opposed to the book, but that might have something to do with the fact that I am reading this now as an adult whereas I watched the movie constantly at around the age of <6ish. Great story ♡ 5/5
