I very much enjoyed this story. It has a nice balance of Pollyanna positivity and dealing with harsh reality. The moments Sara broke down were so effective and moving. I've watched the Shirley Temple movie many times and it was great to be deeper in Sara's thoughts. The ending was different than the movie, but I don't know which I prefer. I do wish I were very rich so I could give away money freely.
