In Crown of Midnight Celaena is the King’s assassin and so you see that side of things. You see her scouting and working and planning. But you also see her relationships grow. If you thought in Throne of Glass that there was going to be a love triangle then you were wrong. Both Chaol and Dorian could possible feel something for her but Celaena picks one and that’s it and just tries to have a friendship with the other. Even though Celaena picks someone it doesn’t mean that there isn’t issues but at least the issues aren’t another guy. While doing the king’s biding and dealing with her feelings there is also a mystery of something else that she is trying to solve in order to help a friend.
Usually in a series in book 2 there seems to be a bit of a slump. It will feel like a stepping stone but Crown of Midnight avoided that.

4.5 estrellitas. Este libro me gusta mucho. Sollocé un poquito en unas escenas. Amo como van construyendo el mundo y se saben más cosas. (!!)
Me gusta el protagonismo que tiene Dorian y que va adquiriendo más fuerza mientras avanza el libro.
Celaena me encanta, no tengo nada que decir al respecto. La amo.
Chaol estuvo bien. Recuerdo que al finalizar el libro hace años, terminé una etapa de enamoramiento con él. Me volvió a ocurrir. Era un crush pasajero pero aún así lo llevo en mi corazón porque a pesar de su error, es un buen hombre.
¡Seguiré avanzando con la saga! La estoy disfrutando un montonazo.
