Incredible ending to an amazing series
I swear I could see this being a Netflix series. There is so much here. This unfolding story of the treasure and watching the Bailey Brothers find their way makes this one of my favorite series. This book specifically was a fantastic wrap up to the books. So well done and well written. I can't wait to read about the Haven brothers!!

To say I have huge tears running down my face, with the ending, of one of my favorite series ever, would be accurate. I have loved these Bailey boys and their Gram as if I knew them.
Their pain was my pain. The injustice Asher and Grace endured was heartbreaking. Evan's bumpy and grouchy ride to his Fiona was a delight. Gavin growing up and putting that daredevilness into his relationship with Skylar was like watching a 3 ring circus. Logan and Cara made me laugh and cry throughout their entire ridiculous path to finding each other. Now we come to the end with sweet and sexy Levi. He was the loner longing for the forbidden fruit... a dastardly Haven.
Annika Haven fought her attraction for Levi Bailey for years and when they finally made it to a closet, an explosion happened. They climbed a figurative mountain to be together. They battled a family feud, a town divided and some not so honorable others to have it all. Love did win!
This series was fabulous and NOT meant to be read as standalones, since there is a weaving mystery throughout the series. Bravo to this author, who once again, created a family of unforgettable characters. What would Gram name her, I wonder?

Whew, finally finished! This one took me forever to get into, really slow start with way too many other story lines! However, the epilogue was very satisfying and I really loved Levi, who was a strong, flawed yet perfect hero. It hurts me to rate this only 3 stars as I waited with baited breath for it to be released but I struggled too much to connect and I just can’t boost it up. C.K. was just trying too hard with this one. So many things pulling away my focus; the over-arching storyline of the series - the feud and the Montgomery treasure- which were two subplots entwined, the love story of Annika and Levi, and the set up for her new series about the Haven brothers. It was just too much for one book to contain and I was often pulled out of the love story to go treasure hunting, or deal with feud drama, or discover more about Annika’s girlfriends and her brothers - obviously the source of C.K.s next few books- it was just overwhelming. All of these other storylines detracted and distracted from the love story that struggled to captivate me and was very light on details. If more time had been spent building Levi and Annika’s story we could have had more then just years of texting, perhaps some moments between them in high school, an encounter when she arrived back in town with her son, some more detail on their time together. Instead it was just text messages and then a closet kiss and wham ‘I love you, let’s get married’. Give me a little more build up please. The feud and town mystery just never engaged me in any of the previous books and then were wrapped up in a way that was too OTT and not believable (I won’t get into spoilers). It was just very hard to believe how convenient it all ended up. Anyway, I would have liked this book better if the love story was the centre and all the rest was toned down significantly. That being said, I’m hot for the Haven boys books, even though I couldn’t keep them all straight.
five stars! *:・゚✧ okay this last book is officially my favorite of the series, and levi is officially my favorite bailey brother
