This book gets so much hype and it is just boring. I’m here for a book with a lot of plot but I got 90% into this book and realized I didn’t care about any of the characters, so I DNFd it.

I had the best time reading this. The character development and world building were very well done and the pacing was perfect.

i really enjoyed this! i know a lot of people have said it was a slow and i do agree that the pacing in the middle could have been faster but overall i really enjoyed it. i think Silla is super relatable as an FMC and i like how she immediately doesn’t randomly become super good at fighting - it makes her seem more relatable and unique as the main character while also interesting to read about! the ending had me hooked, and im excited to see where this goes in book 2!
