I definitely needed this closure after the first book but it wasn’t amazing.

This book could have been so much shorter. If you're very attached to Eden, this book is great. However, it's very slow if you just liked the first book and were curious to see how the sequel was. It was much more focused on Eden and Josh than the trial with Kevin too. I'm especially disappointed that we didn't even learn if he was found guilty or not. I liked reading her story and I'm happy about the way she turned out, I just think this book could have been much shorter.

It was honestly a good book I have been waiting to read this and when I finally got to it I loved it

I was shocked when I found out that Eden was with Steve like what!?
She later on says her reasons for dating him and no how can she with someone who you don’t love not only that he called her a bitch and a slut like he wasn’t lying at that time but to date that person is so not it. Then as the book went on I kept feeling bad for Josh like he was holding on too many things and he was slowly breaking and I also hated how he kept saying that he’s this perfect person and can’t fuck up like this just shows how stressed my dude was and I hate it cuz he’s such a nice guy that he doesn’t deserve it but I’m glad he worked things with himself by going to there reunions and his relationship with father got better so that was good and him quitting basketball was such a relief for him I love it and I really love his relationship with his mother they understand each other and are in the same team. You can see Eden grow throughout the story and I really love how she goes on runs in the morning cuz me too and honestly it’s healthier for her and the fact that she got back playing the clarinet is amazing she loved that so glad she got back to it. I hate how Caelin is now like does he get better like this whole thing seems to have affected him so much and honestly he’s a character I really love and seeing him smoking cigarettes and getting drunk is not the he should I really hope he got better even if they didn’t win the case in which they didn’t say but it’s fine it’s not need I did wanted to know but it’s fine and I’m glad Eden is ready. I love Dominic he’s such a funny and supportive guy like I need him in my life and same with Parker she literally kept my girl going when she was at her lowest. I really don’t like the scene of the pregnancy like I feel like it’s stupid and not really worth getting mad for so I feel like the author could’ve done a better job at finding a better argument in which they would give each other space. Other than that I love this it’s such a cute, funny, and pretty story I love to see that both Josh and Eden grew so much. Btw I hate the beard Josh. Also I think Mara also grew and like her better now she’s a good friend and I also like Cameron he’s a good person (never disliked him in the first place). Also the tattoo my girl got is so it like it’s so meaningful to them I love it.

it felt like the pacing was slightly off for quite a lot of the book and i wish we got a bit more clarification on what actually happened at the end, but it was nice to see eden and josh happy (for at least some of the book), and i liked that the author highlighted how issues like this affect the family majorly too
