DNF- mostly because the audiobook version I was listening to glitched and wouldn’t let me finish, but also, this book is so slow, and it doesn’t go very far when it does move. I love the concept, and I think it’s extremely relevant to the current state of our world. I just wish it was a little more digestible. I believe I was about 3 hours from the end of the audiobook

Clair Danes did a great job with the narration on this book. It took a while for me to actually start this book, but I'm glad I did. Atwood's descriptions painted an excellent picture of what this terrible life must have been like. Still a great book, though! I will definitely reread this one.

I usually don't read dystopian novels, but The Handmaid's Tale kept me riveted. Definitely worth the read as a caricature of today's social and political trends
