I love the Ear Hustle podcast and was excited to listen to the audiobook version of this. Nigel and Earlonne are amazing storytellers, and I liked hearing new stories that hadn't been featured on the podcast. I did have some issues with the narrators other than N+ E, as they used the same readers over and over so I found myself confusing the stories and also growing frustrated with how things were being read. Overall though, I really loved this!

I love prison drama. This is what I was after and only got snippets of what I was after- hard, rough, and raw stories from inside prisons. Having never heard of ‘Ear Hustle’ before reading this, I found something interesting but it just wasn’t what I was looking for. It’s written like a podcast script for the most part.
