Witty and erudite, of course. Legitimately funny, even to the 21st century reader. Incredible how the greatest writing holds up overtime. Absolutely fantastic cast of characters: Pangloss, Cunegonde, Cacambo, Martin, the Baron and so on. “Whatever is, is right.“

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did. I loved the heavy handed satire and exploration of philosophical ideas. Fast paced and funny - you cover a LOT of ground in just over 100 pages.
