Love this series, the crimes the characters and how it all most at a good pace. Kelley is an amazing writer she really gets you hooked. There is enough back story to the character's and the crimes are always different most you don't expect. And I love the comic relief that she throws in there every now and then.

I have really enjoyed the Rockton series (like all of Armstrong's books). This was an interesting one as the plot gave reason for Casey to meet and learn about the other groups of people living around Rockton. We also got some more information on the hostiles, which was fun.

Great conclusion to the Rockton series. Armstrong has built an immersive and fascinating world and expands it even more in this book. Plenty of twists and turns, growth in the characters we've come to know and introductions to new characters. Well-plotted and kept me captivated.

I received a free ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this was book one in the seres and it isn’t.   Also the pacing is very slow for me.
