Graphic novel told in 2 parts of a toddler who escapes a macabre scene because he has a habit of wandering. When he wanders into a graveyard with the killer on his heels, the ghosts protect him and give him shelter. He becomes Nobody or Bod Owens.

A very nice graphic rendition of the novel. The illustrations really bring the story to life.

When the text of your graphic novel is just cut down from the full length version, you have to hope the visual storytelling is great. The Graveyard Book is serviceable enough but does not compare favourably to Gaiman's original novel.

Magical.

Love this combo of art and story.

Loved it. The story of Odd is layered and fun. Just the right amount of scary and creepy balanced with heart and fun. It's not just a good read, it's a great one.

Adored this book - this adaption is just stunning

I wonder if the Hempstock witch from this story is related to the Hempstocks in "Ocean at the End of the Lane." 0.o

Oh man, this is so different than what I had imagined in my brain - but that's the beauty of it! I love this version and can't wait to jump into Volume 2 to finish it out. Hands down, my favorite character depiction, is the Lady on the Grey -- but next to that might be Silas. He's a little more "vampire-y" than what I had in my head but I liked Russell's design. Super fun, quick graphic novel read.
