This book was so cute, literally couldn't stop the smile on my face whenever Ridge and Callie interacted. I loved seeing the individual growth of Callie as well as the relationship growth. Gah, so fucking cute

I waited a few days to review it and in that time mull it over and try to come up with something that didn’t make me want to build a fire and throw my kindle inside. I know that when someone writes a book it is personal to them and I don’t want to be mean to anyone.

Going into this, you should know that you have to read 48% of the book before you stop wanting to throw your kindle at a wall from the cringe. I persevered…

The first pages of backstory (she comes from a cult) are absolutely necessary for the story but even knowing that, even adoring the idea that he would be patient and open with her, the way he talks to her is CRINGE AF.

85% is when we got what I was hoping for this entire book. It was all that kept me going. Was it worth it? Ugh. No but it was something.
