I finished this book last night and found it most enjoyable. It is quit a simple book which took me a few pages to get used to, but makes it a very easy read. Both stories have a similar theme of dealing with the loss of a loved one but not in a sad way, they a very heart warming stories.
Shocked with the end of this book. Don't worry I won't spoil it! About a sweet little girl (me) and her sister (Emma) and how they deal with an abusive step father and live so to say. I really enjoyed this book.

Wow this book was heart breaking. It breaks my heart that these situations happen. The twist at the end was good, I guessed it about half way though.

A story of two very different sisters, one eight and one six, who live with an extremely abusive stepfather and an uncaring mother. A heartbreaking book, simply written, with a surprising twist at the end that I didn’t foresee.
The ending made the book. It was just an okay book all along until I hit the end, which made the book instantly better.
Wtf did I just read?? The ending just doesn’t add up to everything else that happened in the book and I just couldn’t connect with the main character because she was like 8? but acted like a teenager, I really did not like this
This book was so confusing. It's also an age old bit of double personality. It had some decent point but mostly it was just a bad read.
This book is sometimes hard and most of the time heartbreaking. The absuse of children and the psychological/physical consaquences for those that allready have problems is devastating. The author shows this clearly in this book. Sadly I found it used too much ‘literary tricks’ which I have seen before and the writing is not excellent.
