Incredibly gripping. For the last 1/3 of the book I could not put it down. So tragic and so many mistakes were made, but when the book ends you don’t really want to blame anyone for what happened. I hope everyone who survived could eventually find peace with how things turned out.

I will never understand the hubris that it takes to think you should climb Mt. Everest, and Krakauer has only emphasized that point to me.
