Wonderfully imaginative plot! The writing is a little stale in spots, but the characters are endearing and funny. I adore this entire series!

Love rereading old childhood memories.

I wanted to finish the series before commented. This was a fun ensemble casted book for kids around the age 10-12. It lacked somewhat in emotional depth, but was funny and playful.

Still good.

Ceritanya menarik, petualangannya cukup seru.

Mengikuti jalan cerita Charlie merupaka pengalaman menyenangkan!

Cerita ini baru awal series, tentu saja saya ingin membaca cerita selanjutnya! :)

I read this book in middle school and reread it periodically through high school for fun. It’s a good book especially for middle school and elementary age groups. Wish I kept the book so my daughter could read it when she gets older

Took me more than halfway through the book to actually get into it. It had finally picked up for me at the end, and now I would like to read the second. If the pacing issues continue, tho, that'll probably be where I stop. I picked up because a patron told me they were great and even better written than Harry Potter. Have to disagree with the "better written" part of that, but I did like the book once I was into it. Some blatant parallels between it and Harry Potter, but the plot seems to be developing a bit differently.

I stopped reading this book about half-way through. I just kept getting annoyed at the way the plot was paced, how average the writing was, and the very obvious Harry Potter tag-alongness of the whole thing. I'm sure there are kids who would like this book series, but I was not especially a fan.

Off-brand Harry Potter.
Not as bad as off-brand pop-tarts.
