Finally!! A mafia, hockey romance that actually has hockey moments beyond just skating on ice for a couple chapters AND mafia moments which again were actually part of the plot and not just a ohh she’s a mafia Princess - let’s never mention it again.
I am confused though on why her brother went so mad on things and pretended he didn’t know where she was, made those lewd comments when it was him that told her to run? Like yes she ran, she ran where she felt safe but then it’s like a surprise to Niko and he pretends he didn’t help. Even in the presence of the people who he knew she was safe with?
I dunno it just felt a bit like I’d missed a massive plot hole.
However this book had me gripped, their relationship, the mafia side, the hockey side loved it all. I’m sad it’s a new release and having looked there’s no other books in the series yet.

The tension of her arranged marriage, the looming threats from rival families, and the emotional trauma she carries had me deeply invested.
