This is a very entertaining, steamy dark M/M romance. This series revolves around a billionaire who adopts a bunch of child psychopaths and teaches them to basically be vigilantes. This book 2 which centers around one of the sons who is a professor and a former FBI agent who is also psychic. If you are a fan of horror/thrillers & romance, this series is a great smash-up. 5⭐️

this is such a fun addition to such an amazing book series
AIIIIGHT, don't get me wrong, August and Lucas are still cute/cool as hell, I still love the inability to feel, the murder, the fact August is a genius, the "I maybe love you" energy, I'm still WEAK for it.
I love the element of clairvoyance or whatever you would like to call Lucas's ability in this book also. Is it far fetched? Sure, but hell, I came for escapism.
BUT pyscho was teetering on the 3 star/4 star border for me. Because I an extremely sensitive little baby sometimes, and I get my feelings hurt when things don't play out how I want them to in my head ahhahahah

-"I can’t let you burn the world down just for me.”
-“You say that like you have a choice.”
August Mulvaney I wasn't familiar with your game🤭
writing about a family of seven psychopaths and their adoptive father who trained them to eliminate the evil should not be as sweet, caring and wholesome like this but it is, all the characters have their own depth, and each book follow one of the brothers and their significant other and it follows different story with a new evil each time, it captivity and kept me entertained the whole time, this series has already become one of my comfort reads.

4.25 stars. These psychos have my heart!
Y’all. I love this family of psychopaths. More than I love most normal “people”. They’re smart (scarily so) and clever and absolutely emotionless and oh so funny I can hardly deal. And in case of August, ridiculously swoony.
August is possibly the smartest in a family of geniuses, and possibly the most psychotic in a family of psychos. And also maybe the sweetest? Without even trying. The closest thing to a cinnamon roll serial killing psychopath one can find. It’s crazy how the things he says will melt you (and Lucas) into a puddle of feels. Lucas somehow matches his crazy, with his parapsychological abilities (not even the crazy part) and his reluctant acceptance of August and his, umm, predilections. I’m still not all the way sold on the insta love aspect of this series but I do get why it’s a thing, since these boys tend to imprint on their SOs instantaneously or well, they don’t.
The overarching murder plot is also fast paced and gruesome and somehow well done without losing the irreverence of the boys and their plans. I literally need stories for everyone including Thomas ASAP.

I don't have strong feelings one way or the other about this book. I enjoyed it; it kept me entertained, but it wasn't one I'd want to re-read a bunch of times. 3.5 stars for me.
