Too much name dropping but had some beautiful descriptions

I kind of don’t know what to do with this. It was such a beautiful, compelling, emotionally intense read. I feel like I need to read it again just to soak it all in. Her writing is lyrical, witty, crisp, silly, erotic, and intense. I realize that’s a ridiculous number of adjectives, but wow this book is just gorgeous.

Wow, this was all sorts of beautiful. Read it quick because it's mostly composed of couplets (no surprise there, haha), but its length did not detract from the story at all. I would argue that it made the story hurt more! There's something about purposeful brevity... and Millner knows how to use as few words as possible to achieve great impact. I felt for the character -- in many ways I think about sexuality similarly, so perhaps that's why (and sexuality is the main thread/theme/etc of the work). Love is hard, love is good, love is soft... all sorts of things. Read this!!
