A melancholy story about two lost boys who find comfort in each other.

I had a feeling I would love this one, but volume 1 was even better than I anticipated. I like the wintery and desolate atmosphere and slowly learning about these characters in a meandering pace. I found it very atmospheric and emotional and cannot wait to see how these characters’ lives will continue to affect them and make them grow.

I love that we can see Gu Fei and Jiang Cheng’s friendship budding even before they realize it’s happening.. the small things they do for each other are very tender and sweet. I'm excited to see more of their interactions together.

This wouldn’t be a review without mentioning Gu Miao and how precious their relationships with her are. She is integral in bringing our two boys together.

Adored this and can’t wait for volume two!

Oh this was so good!!!! I really enjoyed it! Didn't think my first danmei would be a contemporary coming of age one, but i'm really glad that it was :) The characthers were so complex and able to stand on their own that it just made the plot even more enjoyable.

It was quite slow paced at times, and ocasionally there isn't really much going, but following the characthers on their daily lives, seeing them dealing with their issues was just as enjoyable, and i'm sure we've only scratched the surface

Also liked how there was practically zerooo romance in this book, it gave us time to get familiar with the mc's and the plot, rating is so specific hahaha but only because i think the series will only get better as it goes and i'll fall in love with it even more, im very excited for vol.2 to see how it continues :p

I'm really enjoying the pacing, it all feels so natural. the mcs are well-developed and can stand on their own as characters which I love! there are some interesting themes being explored that I have a really good feeling for the next volumes.
