something about willa being the one to fight for the relationship with jackson (the guy she had a 9 year long unrequited crush on) and all but yelled her promise to never leave him as he was trying to 3rd act break up with her (even tho he’s the one with the commitment issues) doesn’t sit right with me. at. all. periodt

It was fine. Unfortunately Willa's lack of a backbone and speaking up for herself made me drop this a star. I got super annoyed with Jackson but I still liked him better than Willa not speaking up for herself. Reminded me too much of myself when I was 19. Her actions were reminiscent of a teenager rather than a grown ass woman.
I liked her enough for three stars, but she was too naïve for my adult tastes. I will still continue the series because I really like Lark Cove and curious to see where it goes next and the writing is good.

Loved this one every bit as much as the first in the series. I'm totally digging the Lark Cove bunch and I understand completely why folks love Devney's books as much as they do. I'm addicted.

Honestly, I cannot finish this book. Willa is so desperate for Jackson but doesn’t communicate at all. Jackson prides himself on sleeping with all of the hot tourists that pass through. It’s just not that great.
We met Willa and Jackson in Tattered Lark Cove 1. I loved that they got their own story and received their happily ever after. Looking forward to continuing on in The Lark Cove world. Loving small town interconnected romances.
