I love Khloe. She's so real and this book was a really great start into some self reflection I hadn't been ready to do yet. Keep it simple.

I'm judging myself for reading this book but it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. Quick mindless read.

This book is all about dieting, exercise, being positive. Basically having a different perspective on life. It can be motivating however it was not for me. I enjoyed reading more into her life in some chapters.

Quick review ( 45/100) not a terrible book but definitely meant for fans. The advice given is nothing particularly groundbreaking but is good for those may need the author to be the one to motivate them.

So I’m probably one of the few people who read this who has seen less than 3 episodes of KUWTK, I did not read this because of strong feelings towards the Kardashians (positive or negative) nor did I read this book because of the current scandal surrounding them (which hey by the time you read this review, could be nonexistent or something new) but I decided to read this book for a few reasons

- I am interested in improving my health and fitness
- This year I am trying to read over 365 books and part of that means I pick books I think would be quick reads (I was wrong it really dragged for me, put it down a ton)
- I am trying to diversify my reading material (I used to try to read a book a day so sometimes I’d just grab what’s available at the library)

For the record she should be proud of her accomplishments, but this book borders on too self congratulatory for my tastes. I’m not opposed to the biography or the self-help genre but for me the issue was/is that it really felt like this book wanted to be both motivational and autobiographical, succeeding in neither, which ultimately landed it in the sweet spot of bland (for me). Which is a shame because the writers voice is better than most, but that does not matter when most of what they wrote is banal, too many anecdotes, too much background static, and very little actionable advice. If I had known that it would be a book that felt like it had more pictures than advice or recipes(which not really my thing but there is a very mini cookbook inside), I probably would not have picked it up in the first place, but if you’re the type of person who enjoys any extra peek at reality tv’s royal family you may find yourself enjoying it more. I‘m not really getting into any of the original content (which is primarily family anecdotes) with this review because there is so little it would basically become a spoiler filled review of what is arguably a book filled with almost nothing but retreaded material.

Rating 3.5

Strong Looks Better Naked reads like a conversations with a friend, which is one of the main things I enjoyed. I can relate to many of her personal struggles, both physically and emotionally. Quick and enjoyable read.

Honestly, I was surprised I was even going to give this book a 3 star rating. I had very low expectations considering it was written by a Kardashian, but did find some of the advice helpful.

Stronger Looks Better Naked...hmmmm... I don't know what I expected from this memoir self-help cookbook. The ridiculous mixture of genres is enough to irritate anyone, but Khloé's voice is so strong in the text that I actually thought I was watching an episode of Keeping Up wit The Kardashians. Anyway, this book reminds me so much if Janet Jackson's memoir. I cannot remember the title of that book, and I feel that in about 2 weeks I won't remember the title of this one either. I don't know why this was written, maybe it was cathartic for Khloé and she decided to share her journey to a health-conscious lifestyle, but I could have done without it.
